I do not believe the remark was intended to put Miss Curtis down. I think it was made to point out that women who have the Y factor are sterile. Miss Curtis, in my opinion is very attractive, but unfortunately, she is unable to have children of her own. She and her husband have adopted children and she is the author of books for children who have been adopted. They are quite good and should be read by anyone any age who has been adopted.
