Jim is right. The DNA test we use is on the male Y chromosome. A "sex" chromosome. Very few if any diseases are know to be connected to it. The parts that are tested are "junk" pieces - not known to be beneficial or detrimental to the individual. However, I think Denna was more interested in finding other Davenports that might have HHT.
