To All Pamunkey Davenports (descendants of Davis Davenport of Pamunkey Neck, VA): The Pamunkey Davenport Family Association has been contemplating a revision of the Four Generation Lineage that was published by Dr. John Scott Davenport a little more than 18 months ago, and made available on the web < http://users.intercomm.com/nvjack/davnport/pamdav.htm >, and Doc has agreed. We may not publish any new hardcopy books, but we will at least update the web page to make it current with recent research findings. Some of the reasons for this revision are: a) The Kennedy, Graves, and Baker portions need to be redone. b) Much new data has been extracted from Cumberland County that needs to be reflected. c) We know more about most of those included in the four generations now than we knew two years ago when we were putting the Four Generations together. Also, we now intend to include the names of all wives of sons of the Fourth Generation, and we possibly might extend the lineage to the Fifth Generation.
