Hello Everyone, I am now at the NC State Archives, which in my book are heaven compared to the Library of Virginia, where I was on Tuesday...75 cents per copy printed from microfilm, which maybe you did and maybe you didn't get the page set correctly and the lighting correct. NC State Archives...you get to hold in your hot little hands the ORIGINAL documents in comfort at a table, and they copy for you and it is only 10cents a page!! Anyway, I am going throug Granville Co. tax lists re my Robertsons/Robinsons (you know the ones also related to Prince George Davenports)... And lo and behold in Island Creek District we have Joseph Davenport until late 1770s/early 1780s, then many Glovers, many Terrys (Rowland, James) and some Barnetts including Sarah Crosha Barnett. Do you all know all about these folks, or shall I look for wills, estate records. I thought having the above names (and maybe more I don't recognize together), might bolster Docs arguments on the relationships. I don't have time to check around, so don't remember if this has all been covered or not. Best. Janet Hunter
