Kirkland/Hamlin, was b- June 6, 1886 and d-July 15, 1965 Dallas TX. How I came by this was I sent for Marvin Ayles SS App., and it had his parents and Grandparents if you can believe that. Then I sent for Nancy Evalyn Hamlin's SS App. and this is what it has....: John Hiram Kirkland b-in Osage City, Kansas, and mother is a Nancy Loraine Davenport. I looked on Ancestry.com but there is nothing on them. Anything would be great. I ran Nancy Loraine Davenport through my genealogy program & came up with nothing. Not her, no Kirkland. I was surprised as I've heard her name before. It could be I just don't have her in there yet! I also just checked through what I call "Unconnected Davenport's", meaning that they're not yet connected through our founding father, Orme. You didn't give a location. Where is she from, do you have a date of birth? Sometimes those things help! If I hear of anything, I will be sure to let you know......Teri
