Actually I don't have xp on this computer only on my husband's new editing computer.( I have Windows 98) But I do have an "Easy CD Creator" soft ware program installed on this one. I used that and it copied the files just fine...but it is in a "read only" format and does not work as a back-up that can be re-entered into the FTW file. ( Family Treemaker does not recognize it as a "backup"). Nevertheless...at least....the CD will store the file safely and it can be printed from , and the CD can be sent to others to look at.
