    3. Mary, No, I do not have a connection of the Beekmans to Richard Hannon and a Davenport family in Indiana. My husband's Beekman family is Dutch-German, but they did not come to Iowa until about 1880. My Davenport family is from a Pamunkey Davenport being Thomas Davenport, Sr. of Cumberland County, Virginia, to his son James Davenport to his daughter Rhoda Davenport who married William Boyd probably in Halifax County, Virginia area about 1780.
