    3. This is absolutely only possibility.... not fact. I am not studying this same John but because I am studying a John born in 1765 I had run across the John you are referring to that died in NC. From what I had written its possible the Sarah was a Sarah King, and that John was born in Bedford Co. also to Mathew Davenport and had a brother Mathew. If this is the same person, he did go to NC. Remember, only suggestions. 3. Jack There are two or three of civil war era, but I cant think of who, or the site where they're found. I believe Joe(?) Davenport had them put on the web by a McKay person. 3. Glenora I doubt any connection. My Grandpa was one of only two Pamunkey Davenports that came to Oregon. He, depressed from the loss of his first wife, was urged to go visit his aunt in Oregon, and ended up marrying her daughter. Second cousins. To our knowledge, they and their descendants are the only ones out here. But we could be wrong and just not know of others. Thanks for the interest.
