Henry Dougherty { the son of Capt. John and his wife Isabell } born 1784 Married in Ky a woman named Catherine Shay abt. 1803 they had several children and moved to Ind. by 1810 and Catherine died in Ind before 1810 as Henry then married Cynthia. On the probate papers they were signed by James Smith and Gabriel Dougherty. Where did Cynthia go after the 1850 census.? Did she re marry? Did Henry have a Dughter named Jane? if so was she the daughter of Catherine and left home because her dad re married? Does any one have the answers to my questions?
