Mary is there a Family History Center of the Latter Day Saints near you? I checked their lists of archives and they have Pension Index for the Civil War. The film is llisted as: FHL US\CAN Film 2155464 for Pension Index, Caraan - Ezzell which should take care of both spellings for Daugherty. I hope this will help. I have tried searching for Civil War info on the net and this is about all I have been able to come up with. Wish I could help more.
