Gabriel is listed with a son Named John born 1836. Any one know what happened to him? Is this the John that married Sarah Smith in 1858, went to Ill with the Smiths and Joined the Union army and was Killed at the battle of Stone River??? Also did a member of the Dougherty clan come to Ind as late as 1838 from Ky?? There were also 3 Johns listed on the 1820 census Who were they? besides Capt. John? Who was the John listed with 2 girls under 10 and 2 that were 10 to 15. ?? Henry is the best canadiate but I have not been able to get a list of his children so far.
