This is a list of the Da/ougherty Men that could have had a son Named George Washington in 1838. on the census they have a male child right age. Gabriel, Robert, George Jr. John, and John. Our George Washington must have belonged to one of these men? Who was Patriot Dougherty, Where did he go??? he is listed on the 1830 census. When one checks the names and the census lots of them does not match. that I have. At least. I beleive that Henry and wife had twins. And it is possible that Gabriel also had twins.
