His children were Martha A. b. 1837, IN; John 1839 IN; William 1843 IN; Samuel S. 1847 IN; Robert W. 1851 IL; Mary C 1853 IL; Sarah A. 1856 IL. By 30 Aug 1860, they were in Burlington TWP, Coffey Co., KS. I thought his father was Henry-1784 IN but on the same census was a Sarah A. Dougherty, 73 from SC with son Robert W. 31 IN, Sarah 14 IN and Cynthia E. 3 KS. They were living next to Joel and Margaret. Thank you for any help you can give in clearing this up for me.
