If the information I see on the internet is correct (?????), Cornelius was one heck-a-uva man. Now, remember, this is all internet data....not mine...not mine at all.... He was born either in 1668 or thereabouts. He died in 1778 (so he lived to be 100 years of age). He married the daughter of Moytoy named Anewake Ailsey who was born in 1726 (so Cornie, as I'm sure she called him, was 58 when she was born and had to be at least 70-72 when she came of child bearing age) (and then Cornelius still had three children by her which took, oh, at least another 3 years...so at 75-76 years of age he was, I suppose you could say, still going strong. Fact is that Cornelius was still trading, negotiating and living among the Cherokee in the mid 1700's. The point to all this being 1. Don't believe all you see on the internet 2.
