    3. Census records List Spicy Jane Dougherty as born in Ind, Ohio, KY, We beleive it is Ind. and she was born 1812 . She had 5 sisters. do not know their names or names of her parents. She married James T. Smith on Jam. 1, 1836 and they had 10 children, Their lines were Dr. Mayfield, Burk, Long, McCartney, Dougherty, Foster, Fulk, Edminston, Wing, McReynolds, Webster, They married in Lawrence Co. Ind. Jan 1, 1836 Lived next in Greene Co. Ind. and in 1850 were in Orange co. Ind by 1860 they were in Clay Co. ILL. where James T. was killed after 1865 and before 1870. She was in Noble ILL keeping house for her son in 1870 she never fully recovered from seeing her husband shot right before her and the children. Did she go on with the children when they moved on to Kansas? Could she be burried in Lynn Co Kansas? or Greenwood Co Kansas? We can find neither of the graves. he was probaly burried on the farm as they had no horses left to take him to a ceme! tery. Can any one help with this brick wall. I need the parents of this woman. can any one help. Is she the Daughter of Henry Dougherty who was born in 1884: and married first Catherine Shay? and then married Cynthia. in Orange Co Ind?? How does Hazel fit in this tree?? What relation is he to Henry? What relation is George Washington b. 1838 who married Mary Moore to them. is this Henrys son??
