I have Charles Daugherty 1716 son of Michael. It is reported in the Ky family histories that Charles and his WHOLE family was killed that day by the indians and in the next prargraph it says not all of them were killed. SO I have a James Dougherty b. May 3, 1747 in Augusta Co. Va. that m. a Hanna Elizabeth ? Dougherty. and a James Dougherty b. May 3, 1747 in Augusta Co Va that married Rebecca Cunningham. this last James father is listed as Charles and the 1st James father is listed as Thomas 1 and Ann Phillips. same list says that James also married Ann Phillips. Will the list of the children alloted to James help decide which is which?? Mary Lou
