Greg: I've got a John Q. Daugherty (Sr) born in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., and his father was William H. Daugherty, married to Sarah Ann Delashaw. But he (William H.) was a CSA veteran...and much older than yours, I believe. Also, I think a lot of this particular Daugherty line was from Alabama and Georgia.
