Cornelius was born Abt. 1729 ----d. abt. 1800 and was a weaver and married Mary Hill I have 13 children listed for them. and Cornelius was one of 9 children George Sr. 1730 , Catherine 1732, Thomas 1734, Daniel 1736, Anthony 1740, James 1747, William 1848 David 1750, Rebecca 1760 At this time the only Josiah I could find would have been a Cousin ?? to Cornelius. Here is what I have on Josiah Daugherty. Does it coincide with your info? Josiah born 27 March 1777 in Lee County, Virginia buried in Old Ocoee Baptist Church Cemetery, Benton, Tennessee. His grave has a new marker. He married Nancy Edwards about 1798 in Lee Co. VA. Nancy was born 15 June 1783 in Lee Co, VA died 6 June 1850 in Benton, Polk Co., TN.
