He is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Daugherty; his mother, Dorothy Stevens; his father, James Randall Daugherty and his brother, Harry Joseph Stevens, III. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mirchell Daugherty; sister, Patricia Daugherty and stepfather, Harry Joseph Stevens, Jr. and a host of loving relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Mr. Daugherty's life will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 2:00pm at the San Jacinto Memorial Chapel with inurnment to follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
