    1. [DAUGHERTY] Owen Dougherty 1600
    2. Morgan
    3. Hi Deb and all other of the clan You asked about a OWEN. Well on the tree for the Cornelius It has in 1600 Co. Donegal Ireland the birth of Eoghan {Which they translate to mean Owen} But insteasd of following the Owen line perhaps they have followed another child Maybe. as the next in line is LIAM. In fact two Liams and they both died in Ireland. by this record. It was a Son of Liam Michael Mor that came to the United states. it also states that Michael had more than one brother that came to the United States. There was a brother Thomas. and this brother did have a son James. So LIam the first. had a son named Liam and one named Eoghan {Owen} Liam is the one the tree followes to a greater extent. but it also says that There was a Thomas who was a brother to the Michael Mor that came to the united states and that he did have a son James. Also some times they spelled their name with a O and some times with A I beleive that was the census takers to some degree. Eoghan was born 1600 I do not have his next in line. until I get to the Liam who was Michaels father and possible a father to the Thomas that came to the U. S. Mary Lou

    3. I checked Ancestry World Tree Projects under Elizabeth Miles. Sometimes I can find people this way when other researchers put their families online. According to several lists John was B. 10/28/1780 PA. Son of Moses Dougherty and Sidney Ann McConnell. I don't know if this is documented or not but might be a starting point for you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Morgan" <morgan14u@itlnet.net> To: <DAUGHERTY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 02, 2003 6:06 AM Subject: [DAUGHERTY] John D. Here is the right numver of Sisters as my Spicy Jane had 5 sisters. Is maybe there a child not listed in his will because of her actions? Would there be any records from a school where these children went? On the 1820 census in Ind They would be listed as having 4 or 5 girls. The first girl is listed as marrying in July 1824. so they would have maybe been home yet. The girls married in Lawrence Co Ind. as did my Spicy Jane. She may have been just plain Jane too. I would think her to be born about 1810 if she fit into this family Thanking you for any and all help Mary Lou
