    1. [DAUGHERTY] Michael and wife LYdia Johnson
    2. Morgan
    3. Hi Barbara Here is where I found Michael He is the son of George D. and Hanna Boyd.. Michael was born May 19, 1808 and died Dec. 28, 1874 Married Lydia Johnson Henry is the son of Capt John and his wife Isabell Henry first married Catherine Shay in Ky and they list two daughters for them one Isabell and one Cynthia Ann both born in 1808 Then they came to Ind and Catherine died and is burried by Henry and he then married Cynthia who I beleive to be his cousin as her name was reported to be Daugherty. and Catherine and Henry named the one girl Cynthia. I dont have any more children for Henry until 1812 and then the last one is listed as born in 1835. I am searching for a woman who had at least 5 sisters and she was born between the 1807 peroid and 1816 If she was Hrenry and Catherines child that might account for her leaveing home before she married. The probate papers that were filed in Orange co for Henry by Cynthia were wittnessed by James Smith and! my Great grandmother married James T. Smith. who I beleive to be the son of the James Smith that was in Orange co in 1820 with a wife Elizabeth and she died in 1826 and left him with minor children. and he then married another Elizabeth. and I beleive James T Jr. took one of his little brothers with him and Jane went along with him to care for the child and they then married. they left Orange co and went to Lawrence co the DAR said all the Doughertys in Ind. descended from Capt. John's family.> I am looking for a girl born between 1807 ans 1816 in Orange co. and I think that her name may have been just Jane and she added the Spicy. Thanks t oevery one Mary Lou

    3. I would like to know also. I found Michael Daugherty and spouse Lydia Johnson w/family on the same census. I wonder if he is Henry and Catharine's oldest. Hazel Dougherty married Ruth Johnson 8/29/1839 Orange Co., IN so I wonder if these two (Michael and Hazel) are brothers and married two Johnson sisters. Is there anyone descended from either of these families that can help to with these people. I guess I am one of these people that likes to connect the right families together. I have Corneluis and hs wife Mary Hill that had a son Christopher in 1755 in Ky. and on the will it stated that Christophers wife was Martha. one tree I have said Elizabeth could have been Martha Elizabeth any way I would like the name of the daughter born to them in 1807 in Hardin Co Ky.
