    3. Todd, Nancy was the daughter of Charles Daugherty and Mary Lettie Elliott. My ancestry is through Charles' 2nd wife. I have siblings and some spouses but that is about it for Nancy. John Daugherty born Dec. 27, 1856 in Canada. He was 56 years, 3 months, 19 days at the time of his death. He was a machinst. His father was Barney (Barnby?) Daugherty who was born in Ireland. His mother was Sarah Tobin, who was born in Canada. The informat for this death certificate was Charles Daugherty. He died in Gibsonburg, Sandusky County, Ohio. His date of death was April 16, 1913 and was caused by a railroad accident. He was buried on April 20, 1913 in Sherwood (?) Ohio. Hope this helps someone! Carole King Murray

Than somehow along the line my gr.grandparents moved into Fayette County,Penna. and my grandparents were both born and married in that county, from there they came into McKeesport,Penna. and that is my Daugherty history in a nut shell. Daughtrey married Joanna Dossey 9-12-1878 in Limestone Co. texas. His father was W.T. and Mary Daughtrey(Daugherty,Daughtry). William was born in Texas(1833-1860). His father was born in Alabama. William died in 1939, but I do not know where. William and Joanna had Willie Elmer and Mollie Mae and several other children I am told, but I do not have their names, nor can I find them in any other census after 1880 with children.
