Sampson DARNEL lived in Buncombe Co., NC in 1830 and by 1840 was in the census for Cherokee Co., AL. He was born about 1800. His daughter, Salena was my great-grandmother. If anyone has any information on Sampson's forebears, I would love to hear from you. Thank you for any help. Sylvia
