I have just recently (very, to be exact) started to look for my Darnell connection. I have very limited info, but I am hoping one of the Darnell reseachers may see this, and respond. My great-grandfather, James Walker Darnell, born 1871 in MANCHESTER, TN. Left TN for Texas at age 19. Had two brothers, Sam Darnell who left TN for IN and Bob Darnell who also came to TX. There may have been another brother, or cousin-went by the name of Picalo Pete, who was an explorer in Alaska, and died in 1955. He also had two sisters, of one the name was "Kittie"-I do not know the name of the other sister.
