I want to clear up something before anyone else asks or emails me about the Family Associations and The Rootsweb lists. As most of you know by now I have started The Family Association for the surnames that I host for Rootsweb. The Family Associations are not in anyway connected to This Rootsweb genealogy list. Just because you are a member of this mailing list doesnt mean you are a member of The Family Association. For the record any official Family Association that I have seen or belong to myself, all have Constitutions and Bylaws, All have membership dues to help ofset the cost.
