Hi everyone. 1.Just checked the members email addresses of this group and I was shocked to find that their are 105 members.... If 47 of you would take a state list, we would have all of them covered, we definantly have enough people to pull this thing off. Wonder how many of us are direct cousins? Sure would be great for everyone to pull together on this State Page Project so we could find out. 2.With that many members our Gedcom file could be out of this world, If you do not have a genealogy program I recommend Brothers Keeper it can be downloaded at http://www.brotherskeeper.com I can help if you use that program. 3.I am trying to eliminate some of the reports that are on my Darnell Page and if we all work together I can accomplish this. 4.What do you think about contributing to The Darnell Family Newsletter?What are your ideas on what our Newsletter should be? 5.What do you think about making this email group official? Example: The Darnell Association. We could schedule Reunions, New member packets, Copies of Census and Soundex information packets and more. Who would want to help? We would need alot of workers to pull that off. The Drawback would be yearly fees to help defrey printing costs and postage. **** I belong to The Lokrig Association and they provide that type of stuff to people who are associates ( members ) It really is pretty neat. I am going to design a Logo For The Darnell Association and if you want a gif to post on your website, we could do that. Let me know your ideas.
