Hi ya all , Whew....talk about work...... I am beat but I wanted to write everyone and let you know about some changes. If you have been on my main page ( Tjs Computer Connection ) http://www.poncacity.net/awiusdi/index.htm The Darnell link on there is The Main Darnell Homepage. From there you will see new links to both The State by State pages and also to The Bryants Online. I am sad to say I only have one soul willing to help me with The State By State pages and that surprises me...Surely someone out there can help sponser The Darnell State by State pages.(Tennesee has a Coordinator. ) PLEASE,The State Coordinators have been given instructions on what to ask you so dont rush out and send your information. If your ancestor originated in those states, SEND AWIUSDI ( thats me ) an email with Darnell State in the subject and ONLY one word in the body of the email and that is the state. Here are some details about being a State Coordinator. I know some of you think this would require alot of work but it really isnt. Except on my part <grin> State Coordinator: responsibilities include: 1. Contacting All members of the group. 2. Gathering the information for the state you are working on. 3. Organizing that information into an alphebatized report. 4. Sending Awiusdi the finished product and any updates. 5. Contacting your State members and gathering updates every month or so. We have some new members and I want to personally welcome you. If you havent posted your queries yet, lets get busy. Also you have noticed there hasnt been a February 1999 Darnell Family Newsletter and thats only because I havent recieved anything from any of you. ( unless the email monster ate it. ) I really try my best to make The Darnell List and The Darnell Pages the best they can be and I hope you all are pleased with all that is taking place.
