Morgan Alexander Darnall Date: Sat, 12 Dec 1998 18:35:19 EST Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Nancy, According to "The Darnall, Darnell Family, Volume 2" by Avlyn Dodd Conley, on page 409, Col. Darnall's grandparents were William Morgan Darnall, born about 1759. William married Elizabeth Monroe on 12-18-1787 in Fauquier County, VA. It is believed that William was born in Fauquier County, VA, moving later to Botetourt County, VA and then to Greenbrier County, WV in 1805. His wife Elizabeth was said to be a cousin of President James Monroe. Children were Mary or Nancy, born about 1789 and died in 1882, married to a Burdett. Second child William Monroe born about 1788. Third child Morgan A. born about 1790 and died 1866. Hope this helps. Tim Ferrier --part0_913506080_boundary--
