I am researching Abraham Darnell who was married to Mary Ann(believe to be Nelson) all from Virginia. They had a daughter, Susannah who married James Hunt and several other children, Nelson ,Lucy, etc. Nelson went to Lincoln COunty, KY and James and Susannah Darnell Hunt came to Rockcastle COunty, KY. Their mother, Mary Ann Darnell came to Lincoln County, KY as I found an estate settlement there. Would like to find the parents or Abraham Darnell and either participation in American Revolution by service in military or patriotic service. I would also like to know info on the Darnell Mental Hospital in Lexington, KY. Was it started by our Darnells? Mary Alice mhunt@kih.net
