Have been trying to locate a copy of H. C. Smith's book on Darnells, and thought I would let the list know what I have found: Book must be ordered through Hearthstone (1-888-960-3300), $66.00 plus $6.00 shipping. They then send the order to the publisher Higginson, where it will take "several months" for the publisher to print a Xerox copy and then ship it. If anyone knows of a better way to receive this book, I would be grateful to hear about it. I have checked with Genealogical Publishing Co. (1-800-296-6687), they do not have the book. Called Everton's Genealogical Helper (1-800-443-6325), they do not have the book. Hearthstone has a webpage www.hearthstonebooks.com Understand it is on microfile from LDS FHC. Information on a later book (by Conley) can be found from the author via e-mail: aconley@annap.infi.net When I inquired about this book, the author said it is not a "continuation" of Smith book, but centers around an entirely different line.
