Hi all Darnell cousins, I have been lurking about for a while but wanted to find what information I could about my Darnell line before asking for help from all of you. At this point, I am only back to my great great grandparents. So, I am hoping someone either has additional information or could pit me in the right direction. Before I get to the ancestor part, though, I am interested in a "Darnell" book that has been on the list from time to time. How might I obtain a copy of same? Here goes: requesting information on Abraham Monroe DARNELL born 20 Sept 1823 in Virginia and died 4 June 1884 in Cambridge, Cowley County, Kansas (he was gored by a bull) spouse: Nancy Anndasia MOORE WYANT born 26 Aug 1834 in Nicholas County, Kentucky and died 30 July 1904 in Cambridge, Cowley County, Kansas. Their son, James Monroe DARNELL (born 29 July 1868 in Decatur, Macon County, Illinois and died 13 May 1931 in Wewoka, Oklahoma), was my great grandfather.
