The descent is given above the name at the head of each table. In this case: (Zachariah3485; Zachariah; John; John; Morgan; David). Is there some kind soul that can give me an idea on how to research in this book. Every time I pick it up I end up confused. How does the name numbering system work? I have found my great grandparents Joseph Franklin DARNELL and Cora Lee DISHMAN DARNELL and their descendants. I believe Joseph is the son of the second Zachariah????? Thank you Jacque
