Hi to all. I was wordering if anyone had anything on Wilie Shores?? I found him at the LDS site but it only mentioned him, Mrs Elizabeth Shores and Amanda Shores birth 1845 Henry,Tn.( I'm assuming that's Henry Co.) I believe this is the Amanda that married M.M. I see you are working on the Shores family. I am also working on the Shores family. The names you mentioned, I don't have, but then I don't have much on the Shores family. My husbands great grand mother was Mary Eliene Shores (B)1836 Georgia, Died 1883,in Ala.either Elmore or Coosa CO. she MARRIED Thomas Jefferson (T.J) Dendy.They had a son they named Jefferson Shores Dendy and when he married Josephine Alsup, they named one of their sons Johnie Shores Dendy, Jefferson and Josephine had a daughter that named her son Henry Shores Thornburg. That is my husbands brother.His parents are , Marvin Frank Thornburg and Mary Pansy Aliene Dendy Thornburg. If you have further information on the Shores family and don't mind me having it I would love to see if they are some of the same family. I haven't been able to find much on the Shores family my self. If any one knows any thing on the surnames I have mentioned I would like to hear from them. Thanks for your time.
