Anyone on the List who lives in the Chicago-Land (or mid-to-lower Wisconsin) area that would be willing to help me with the local bureaucratics in attempting to move my son next to his Great-grandmother in Central Wisconsin..???? I live in Phoenix.....have to do some local 'leg-work' which is hard from here.. If you would be willing to help...I would appreciate it... If you can't...no problem....I understand....It's a small matter.. Spoke with my mother and aunts over the weekend...they agree...they would like Thomas next to their mother... Local Church and state bureaucratics are another issue... Wish to thank all of you who responded....Jan was correct...already knew the answer...which you confirmed with your thoughts. I am of Scandinavian origin (one generation removed), and have heard over the years an ancient saying (which I did not understand at the time, but got repeated to me again over the last few days from my aunts (tuff women, they are)...and am beginning to grasp it's meaning now): Low, there do I see my Father, There do I see my Mother, my Sisters & my Brothers. Low, there do I see the Line of my People, back to the Beginning. They call to me. They bid me take my place among Them, In the Halls of Vallhala, where the Brave may live Forever.
