Jean, You're right the about the 2 different Marthas.....I wasn't attempting to imply that they were the same...she diffently is not of the John & Rachel Pierce line..... What I was trying to point-out is that her descendants later inter-married with descendants of the John & Rachel line and was trying to remember thru which of my families it occurred....and....that I believed it was thru the McDaniel line of Martha Angeline McDaniel (I am searching for my notes of her maternal lines for the connection)......
