Dave, Not only do we ask our fathers, but, then we have the tables turned on us. My daughter with a six month old, asks about once a week, "Do you think I'm a good Mom" or " Do you think I'm mean because I put her down" or "Because I let her cry for a little while?" We just need confirmation that we are doing the right thing, from someone who's been there before us. Next time she asks, just give her a hug and tell her she's doing great and if she ever needs your help that you will be there for her. (Just two-cents from a first-time grandma) Hope it helps. Ronda
