Folks, May also find the following of interest..... http://www.state.tn.us/sos/statelib/pubsvs/court.htm Though the Archives states which Court records hold what type of cases when.......don't believe them....it's a general rule only...for example.....in Benton County, after 1834, Bastardy cases were supposed to be heard in the Circuit Court, but you will that they were also heard in the County Court......as a note....check all sources....
