    2. Jerry Herndon
    3. Jan, I have seen several messages from you over the past months. I am a Herndon from the Tharpe community of Stewart County. My grandfather was Lewis Franklin Herndon who was a brother to Robert Townsend Herndon. Many of the people you mention from the Stewart County area I am familiar with. Fred Herndon was also my grandfather's brother. Fred and Martha Young Herndon had a son named Young Herndon. Young married Willie ______ . They had three children Marie, J. H., and Helen. I will be happy to share any information I have on the Herndon family or any others that I have in whom you might have an interest .
