I am seeking information on my Perigo Family from Tn.. Although my grandfather was born in Cheatham Co. (Virgil John Perigo), his father,John ? Perigo must have been in this area because he married Janie Parker in Houston Co. in 1898. They were both born in 1877 and had the following children: Bertha May b.1899,Houston,Tn. Virgil John b.1901,Cheatham,Tn. Lee ? b. 1903,?,Tn. Thomas Willie b.1906,Nashville,?,Tn. Lucy ? b.1909,Cheatham,Tn. Gladys ? b.1914 Arthur ? b.1916 Alice ? b. 1920,?,Ar. My gggrandfather,Nelson "Tobe" Perigo, also was married in Wayne Co. in 1876 to Mary McLean. Nelson was born in 1856 and Mary was born in 1860. They had the following children ( some of the descendants believed to be in the area) : John ? b, 1877 William Washington b.1879 Frank ? b.1881, ?, Tn. d. 1921 or 1922,Palmyra,Tn. Ula ? b. 1885 Bertha Claire b. 1887 Rumor has it that my ggggrandfather Robert may have also been in the area. I have very little info except he was born in Ky. and married Matilda ?. They had the following children: William ? b. 1843 H.M. J.M. Mary E. D. Nelson "Tobe" b. 1856 Frank J. Mary F. Louisa J b. Al.
