Hello Ronda, I have looked everywhere for a marriage between a Mitchell Jackson and an Angelica (last name may have been Rook, Trotter, or Whitehead). sometime between 1826 and 1840. I know this is a big time range, but I have not been able to narrow this down. Angelica Rook was married to Daniel Rook who died in 1826 in Montgomery Co. I have not been able to find out what her maiden name was. It was either Whitehead or Trotter---I think. After the death of her husband, her children were first put under the guardianship of John Rook and then under Mitchell Jackson. I have had a cousin tell me that there was a marriage between a Mitchell Jackson and an Angelica Whitehead---which would not make her the wife of Daniel Rook. Unfortunately, the cousin has not been able to find the source of this information. I have been looking for this information for over a year and I am no closer now than I was then. I really appreciate you taking the time to do these lookups. They really do help those of us who live out-of-state. And I have one on Danville, and several for the state of Tennessee. I know some of you have access to most of these, but, perhaps the members of the list that live out of state could use the information. I will be happy to look things up for you.
