I am looking for information about Benjamin and Charlotte MADDOX. Benjamin was born in 1776 in SC, I believe. He died in Crawford County, Illinois in 1855, having moved there by 1830. Charlotte was his wife at the time of his death but may not have been his first wife. They had nine children: Joseph b.1800, John W. b.1805, Sarah b. 1808, Jefferson b. 1814, William, Thomas A. b. 1820, Davis b. 1822, Elizabeth, and Lavina. Joseph and John were born in SC. Sarah and Jefferson were born in Tennessee, so Benjamin was living in Tennessee some time between 1805 and 1820. Thomas was born in KY in 1820. Benjamin's daughter, Lavina, married an ALLISON and was living in Tennessee in 1865. It is believed that ALLISON died in Tennessee. His first name may have been John. Can anyone help me in finding information about Benjamin, Sarah, Jefferson, or Lavina ALLISON?
