    3. Not to be rough on your kinfolk, but looks like to me he didn't like raisin younguns all by himself. He married Maranda to take care of the first 8 and then three months after she died, he married the housekeeper. Whatta guy. I am glad you have the 80 census. How many children are listed in the household? Are Sallie and Will listed? They would be under 10 I think. I can't find any info on where our Willis was born. Nor where he and Maranda married. As I wrote to Jan it wouldn't hurt to check Henry County Also. Well good luck in your search. I can't help you much execpt on the sikes/sykes. They are my line.
