Jean, Was it you??? Or someone else on this list? I have searched high and low for the message but it has to be lost in the mountain of email I keep like a packrat to where I can find nothing. Anyway I THINK someone was asking about a Surratt...and I just came across this little tidbit. I found it in an article in the 1980 Stewart Heritage on T.L. Askew and Winnie Herndon...They were contemporary this century but it mentions T.L.'s aunt Lizzie Surratt having a farm in L.B.L. and dying Jan 27, 1968...don't know if that is helpful or not...but there tis and that name Surratt leapt out at me and I figured I better say something about it before I forgot. jan Listowner: Tnstewar-L@rootsweb.com Tnstewar-D@rootsweb.com
