David Gray from NC was the 'patriarch' and owned land in both Stewart & Henry Co's (Paris & Buchanan Landings for ones). Made his wealth by owning the ferry over the Tennessee River. His family lived on both sides of the River. Married one of his descandents........one of my most favorite mistakes.
