And sadly, I only know that my g-grandfather name was Marvin Luther Shields. born March of 1885 in Independence, Mo.,died on oct./2/1916 married only 5 yrs to Bessie Mae Langley, of Carthage, Mo. and had one child, my grandfather, Silas C. Shields born Dec./31/ 1913 died in 1965 Ceres, Ca., Silas married in Carthage, Mo., to Opal Georgia Nelson. Their first child died at birth, then came my uncle, Larry Shields he has a son Greg that lives near Jefferison City, Mo., and a daughter there too. Brinda Louise Shields (guess were she was born) St. Louis, Mo. (that's were My grandma got her middle name from).. She married Mickey Richard Green born in OK., They met in Ca., and had us 3 kids. Brinda Michelle 1964 (3 boys) Richard Chubbery 1965 (1 girl) Green Rochelle Elizabeth (me) 1967 (3 boys) #3 child of Silas & Opal Jerold Raymond Shields (JR) he has a son in his 20's living in Ca., Todd Stanton Raymond Shields A daughter of Long Beach Ca., Erica Ann Shields So were about it unless we find our family, for the Shields surnames all the above listed for Shields. Do you know of Marvin Luther Shields? I have never found any one that knows him, and he died when my g-pa was only 2, so we have no other information. Beth Thank You All !!!!
