All of you on the name of a town, failed to mention Hohenwald TN is also the place of the largest Rest Home for retired elephants in the world. Old retired Circus elephants are sent there to roam free over many acres their last days, From what I have seen it is a great success and they seem very content, well fed and happy there, They are on TV here real often when a new one arrives on their "Retirement".they always make TV shots and show the welcoming committee with them (Other Elephants of course) Ira
