Thanks Jan. I forgot that Fanny Wall was my aunt Lucy Dennis mother. Shame on me. I just don't have the Dennis entered into my ftm yet. Have you gotten your Dennis straightened out yet? William A. Wall married 3 times, Emelia Stalls July 20, 1850, Rachel M. Atkins Nov. 14, 1857 then after Rachel died he married her sister Mary P. Atkins Apr. 6, 1867. Rachel and Mary were sisters to my ggrandmother Melissa Elizabeth (Atkins) Roper. I have a lot on the Atkins if you ever need it. I am trying to tie these Walls all together and looking through the archives was futile. Type in Walls and up comes "brick walls" <lol> Have tried to get the Walls obits from Christian Co. Got a few but have many more I need. Once I get it all together will send it to you and anyone else that needs it. By the way, another brick wall came down today! Debbie sent me an article out of the Family Histories Christian Co. book abt. Effie Virginia Stampers brother and included census listing of the father who was Edwin Theodore Stamper and wife Mary Lela Vaughn. Effie was not listed as she had married and moved away. Plus Finis T. Stamper was listed as Theodore Stamper and took me a few min. to connect. What got me going on the Stampers was the book I read by Myrtle Roper Hayes titled "This is Yesterday" She wrote abt. growing up in Pennyrile, Ky. She mentions visiting cousins Stampers; Longs; Lacy's and a few others in Big Rock and Clarksville. So I'm off on this hunt. <lol> you ever see the book its good reading. Even has some recipes in it.
