It contains the 1850 Stewart County Census, abstracts of court minutes and deeds, biographical sketches, community histories, etc. It is $38.00 or $42.00 if mailed. There is no charge to submit a family history with up to 500 words and 1 photo. Additional words can be included for 15 cents (per word) and $15.00 for each additional photo. Anyone who had ever lived in Stewart County, currently resides in the county or has family ties to the county is eligible to submit a family history. The deadline to submit family histories for the book is SEPTEMBER 30, 1999. The cost of the book is $49.95 (After September 30, 1999, price increases to $65.00) Tennessee residents add $4.12 per book for sales tax.
