For all of you researching Fort Campbell Cemeteries: (This is in addition to an earlier submission) When construction was begun on Camp Campbell (now Fort Campbell), many cemeteries were moved. Some of the deceased were removed and reinterred in private cemeteries, but the majority of those moved were buried in the following places: Fairview Cemetery - Designated as Cemetery No. 5. It is located south of the Military Reservation near Indian Mound, Stewart County, Tennessee. Flat Lick Cemetery - Designated as Cemetery No. 3. It is located at the Flat Lick Church in Herndon, Kentucky. Greenwood Cemetery - Located in Clarksville, Tennessee Liberty Cemetery - Located at the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, south of Hwy. 79, on Liberty Lane. Powell Cemetery - Located at La Fayette, Kentucky. Riverview Cemetery - Located off Riverview Drive, Clarksville, Tennessee. Rogers Cemetery - Designated as Cemetery No. 1. It is located (6) miles south of the Military Reservation on Liberty Lane. This lane is between Hwy. 79 and La Fayette Roads in Montgomery County, Tennessee.
