Sue, There is a Palmer household #232 in 1850 census. It is composed of Elisha Palmer 44 born in Va, Thomas 20 born in TN (as are all the others after Elisha), Mary 22, Benjamin 18, Henry 12, Alice 10, Juliet Conley 23, Andrew Conley 32 who is a Methodist "preacher", and Ider 4.
